The store struggled to attract enough customers to continue operations, Foskolos said.

Shoppers can browse a wide assortment of items — from dolls, dinnerware, and Dale Earnhardt memorabilia to candlesticks, coffee tables and a Cabbage Patch Kids telephone.

Foskolos, of Coplay, is selling primarily items that he’s acquired over the decades from estate sales and storage unit auctions.

The store, operating out of space previously occupied by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714, carries books, toys, lamps, vases, picture frames, glassware, serving trays, mugs, beer steins, handbags, baskets, framed posters, Halloween and Christmas decorations and children’s items such as rocking horses, a pedal car, drum set and crib.

There’s also a wide assortment of furniture, including hutches, dressers, sofas and dining sets.

“We have a little bit of everything,” Foskolos said.

Other unique pieces include Norman Rockwell plates, an antique prize wheel, a framed 1800s Little Red Riding Hood print and an early 1900s player piano manufactured by the former Autopiano Company in New York.
