Donna F. Davis, 68, of Pottsville, died peacefully Tuesday at home.

She was born Sept. 19, 1953, in Pottsville, a daughter of Geraldine Keefer Pepper Belusko, Mechanicsville, and the late John Pepper.

She was a 1971 graduate of Pottsville Area High School and Empire Beauty School.

She was employed as a CNA at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Donna was member of United Presbyterian Church, Pottsville, Mechanicsville Ladies Auxiliary, Mechanicsville Beneficial Association, Mechanicsville Game and Fish, Walter Griffiths AMVETS Post 180 Ladies Auxiliary, and was a social member of West End Hose Fire Company, Pottsville.

In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her husband, Ellsworth C. Davis Jr., to whom she was married for 23 years on July 29 and together for more than 39 years; a daughter, Janel Hirsch and her husband, Matthew, Mechanicsville; a son, Anthony Chiccini, Mechanicsville; a grandson, Xander Hirsch; a sister, Jane Ann Pepper, Port Carbon; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of family from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Donna be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
